Magarini MP Harrison Kombe is being sought by police after a warrant of arrest was issued against him.
The court ordered that the warrant of arrest be executed by Nairobi county commissioner himself.
The case involves a soft loan that was given to Kombo by former Molo MP Macharia Mukiri back in the year 2008.
After he was advanced the loan, he refused to repay making the complainant to go to court for the recovery of his money.
Mukiri’s lawyer Charles Kang’ethe said several attempts to have Kombo pay the money were fruitless.
Senior Resident Magistrate Isaac Orenge issued a decree against Kombo on 11th January 2017 thereby issuing the warrants.
The warrant to the Nairobi county commissioner read that: “This is to command you to arrest Harrison Kombe unless he pays ksh.336,295 together with the executing officer’s expenses and fees and bring the debtor before the court with all command.
You are further commanded to return this warrant as soon as it is executed or the money noted is tendered to you with an endorsement certifying the day on which and manner in which it has been executed or the reason why it has not been executed.
The executing officer is entitled to 2nd and 3rd class bus and taxi or railway fare”
