A man has been charged with Sh 8.9 million land fraud.
Peter Xavier Indindi Ojiambo is accused of obtaining Sh 8,930,000 from Paul Munyua Nga’nga, by falsely pretending that he was in a position to sell to him land reference No. NAIROBI BLOCK 136/8340, 8341, Plot Number. 2208, 2209 and 2212 situated in Embakasi within Nairobi county, a fact he knew to be false.
Ojiambo is alleged to have committed the offense on the diverse dates between 15th September, 2020 to 3rd March, 2021 at Equity Bank of Kenya Limited, Ruai Branch.
He denied the charge before Senior Principal Magistrate Bernard Ochoi and was granted a Sh 500,000 cash bail.
