A car dealer at Subru Motors Limited has been charged with issuing bad cheque’s worth almost three million.
John Malogo Nderitu is accused of issuing a cheque for Sh 999,000 in favour of Rajendra Sanghani on Subru Motors Limited bank account held at NIC bank Karen branch, knowing that the said NIC account had insufficient funds.
Nderitu is alleged to have committed the offense on 16th April 2016 at Granada Trading Company offices at Twiga Towers building in Nairobi.
The accused also faces two more charges of issuing two similar cheques knowing the account had insufficient funds.
It alleged that he committed this offenses on 26th April 2016 and 17th May 2016 at the same premises.
He appeared before Kibera Law courts and denied the charges.
