Four people have been charged in connection with Sh 150 million robbery at Mitsumi business park.
Walter Kiverenge, Bernard Ogutu Okech, Albert Okech Ochola and Whycliff Mbarani Mukuvuzi are charged with robbery with violence. The court heard that the four, jointly with others not before, while armed with a pistols, robbed Daksha Patel 150,000 USD (15,000,000 shillings) and at or immediately before or after the said robbery, threatened to shoot Patel.
The accused are alleged to have committed the offence on 7th December 2020 at about 5.00 pm at Mitsumi business park computer garage Limited along Muthithi road in Westlands, Nairobi.
They denied the charges before Senior Principal Magistrate Bernard Ochoi. They were released on a bond of Sh 2 million each or a cash bail of Sh 700,000.
