A woman has been charged with conspiracy to defraud a businessman Sh 20 million in fake sandalwood oil sale.
Margaret Ngima munene is accused of obtaining the money from Naftary Mwaniki Munene by pretending that she was in a position to sell to him sandalwood oil.
The accused is alleged to have committed the offence on diverse dates between 21st May 2018 and 1st September 2019 in Nairobi county, jointly with others not before court.
Margaret is also accused of conspiring to defraud Munene the Sh20 million.
She denied the charges before Senior Principal Magistrate Bernard Ochoi and was granted a bond of Sh 5 million or alternative cash bail of Sh 3 million and one contact person.
The case will be mentioned on 10th December for consolidation with another similar case that is already before court.
